Northwest Institute of Health Sciences arranged Research Synopsis Defense session for the students of Medical Lab Technology. There were three research groups of the MLT undergraduate students who presented and defended their proposed researches successfully.
The session was chaired by Dr. Shafiq Wazir, Ph.D. (Chairman IRB NWIHS), while Mr. Rahman Ud Din (HOD Radiology), Dr. Faheem Usman (HoD MLT), Dr. Aamir Ali Khan (MLT), Mr Akhlaq Ahmad were the key members of the panel. Moreover, the defense session was also attended by BS MLT final year students.
The main purpose of the defense was to improve the research quality and centralized research happenings at NWIHS.
The panel thoroughly reviewed the research work of the groups-with mutual consensus leading to the approval, changes or rejection was performed.
Dr, Faheem Usman (HoD MLT) paid special thanks to Mr. Afsar Khan, Chief Operating Officer NWIHS and Dr. Shafiq Wazir IRB chairman for their continuous and sincere support in promoting academic and research work in the institution.
