A workshop on “How to Design an Effective Lesson Plan” was conducted under the theme of the Faculty Development Program. The resource person of the workshop was Dr. Qurat-Ul-Ain, senior faculty of the NWIHS.
The session was attended by HODs and faculty members of the institute. And at the same time, Chief Operating Officer Mr. Afsar Khan was also present on the occasion.
The Faculty Development Program (FDP) has been started under the supervision of QEC, headed by Dr. Subhan-ur-Rehman, Principal NWIHS.
Dr. Qurat-Ul-Ain categorically explained the characteristics of a good lesson plan that includes a specific goal –guidelines and ways to achieve the goal. In preparing an effective lesson plan, smart objectives should be determined that will be measurable, achievable and relevant. Also, space for students’ discussion based on critical thinking should be considered in preparing lesson planning.
Later on, Dr. Subhan-ur-Rehman, Principal NWIHS and Dr. Qurat-Ul-Ain proceeded to the questions and answers session and thanked the participants.
