On International Nurses Day 2024, Northwest honored the dedication and compassion of nurses globally under the theme “Economic power of care”. The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran. Mr. Mansoor, a 3rd-semester student of NWCN, delivered an inspiring speech on the challenges and commitment of nurses. Certificates were awarded to top students from the 3rd and 6th semesters. The Florence Nightingale Pledge was recited by new students, emphasizing the responsibilities of the profession. Dr. Zia Ur Rehman, CEO, NWGH and Mr. Barkatullah, Principal, NWCN graces the event with their presence. Dr. Zia Ur Rehman highlighted the evolving roles of nurses and Northwest’s commitment to quality education and healthcare standards. The event concluded with a skit on Florence Nightingale’s life by Ms. Mahnoor and her team.
