Program Overview

Medical Imaging Technology (Radiology) is four years HEC recognized degree programme. It deals with all kind of diagnostic techniques used in the medical sector and is very crucial for the treatment of the patients. With diag­nosis depending on technology, the role of allied health professional has become vital for delivering successful diagnostic and therapeutic. The programme equips students with the required knowledge, skills, competencies and attitude that are needed to practice radiography in clinical setup. It prepares a cadre of health care technologists who can effectively assist health professionals in the delivery of quality health care services. Their role is to use scientific principles and evidence-based practice for the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of various disorder; prevention of diseases, and to promote health of the community. In addition, it also deals with the applica­tion of administration and management skills.
