Clinical training takes place at Northwest General Hospital and Research Center and Northwest Teaching Hospital, offering multi-specialty experience.

The on-campus Learning Resource Center provides internet-enabled computer systems for academic and research needs, accommodating up to 50 students. NWCN’s team of qualified educators employs diverse teaching methodologies that prioritize active student engagement. Academic Program

Northwest College of Nursing offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, consisting of eight semesters and totaling 137 credit hours. In addition to the four years of study, a one-year clinical internship is mandatory for degree completion. The BSN curriculum, approved by the Higher Education Commission and Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council, includes subjects from basic sciences, clinical sciences, and nursing sciences. The curriculum aims to equip students with cognitive abilities, develop clinical competencies, and enhance their professional capabilities through research and innovation.

Semester System

Khyber Medical University has implemented an integrated teaching and semester system. This system assesses students’ performance and progress through various tests and assignments, allowing them to earn their degree based on cumulative performance throughout the program.
