Northwest Institute of Health Sciences arranged one-day workshop on SPSS Data Management and Analysis for the final year students of the Radiology, Doctor of Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technologies and Anesthesia department. Students and faculty participated in the workshop.
The workshop was moderated by Dr. Kamran Alam, an expert of Biostatistics.
Dr. Kamran Alam shed light on the objectives of the workshop highlighted importance of statistical software SPSS in research, studies and data analysis. He gave detail presentation on data management, analysis and coding values in this particular software.
The goal of this workshop was to enhance the skills of students and faculty about data entry, analysis and reporting using specialized statistical software.
Later on, Dr. Danish Ali Khan, Director Medical Education further explained the procedure of putting data and analysis it for research purposes. He practically demonstrated that how to use the SPSS software for data analysis and management.
Dr. Kamran Alam paid special thanks to Mr. Afsar Khan, Chief Operating Officer NWIHS, Dr. Danish Ali Khan, Director Medical Education NWIHS and Dr. Shafiq Wazir Head IRB for organizing the workshop and providing the opportunity to deliver practical knowledge on data management and analysis to the students and faculty.
