Northwest College of Nursing organized a Poster/ model Competition for the subjects of Anatomy and Physiology among the different groups of students from semester II batch of fall 2021. Students actively participated in the competition and presented their own innovative ideas in an excellent manner. Each group displayed their work through charts, posters, and self-developed human system models in their respective gallery.
Students, faculty members, guests and experts from Northwest School of medicine visited each gallery and briefed by the team leader of each group. Dr. Maqbool Elahi, Dr. Muhammad Tariq, Dr. Adil Zarif from Northwest school of medicine participated in the event and walked through the gallery and appreciated the efforts of students.
Mr. Amir Abdullah, Director Nursing Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital and Research Center and Mr. Aurangzeb, Principal Rehman College of Nursing graced the event and acknowledged the creativity of the students and encouraged the students for their outstanding efforts.
All it became possible with the consistent guidance and support of faculty members especially Mr. Buhar Khan, Mr. Barkatullah, Principal Northwest College of Nursing, Ms. Afrooz Bibi Vice Principal NWCN.
The faculty awarded certificates to the successful achievers. This mindful activity aimed to change the concept of teaching learning practices from a traditional way of teaching to self-directed learning in which students are involved as equal partner of teaching learning process.
