Foreign health delegates visited Northwest Institute of Health Sciences Ring Road Peshawar on Wednesday 21, 2024.
The guests included noted Neuro Scientist Professor Dr. Damien Kuffler, Dr. Randall Chesnut, Spine Surgeon, Dr. Beverly Cheserem, Neurosurgeon and Ms. Jenny Sacree, Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
Mr. Afsar Khan, Chief Operating Officer, NWIHS and Dr. Subhan-U-Rehman, Principal NWIHS received and welcomed the delegates. Dr.Faheem Usman, Principal Allied Health Sciences, NWIHS, Dr. Qurat-Ul-Aen Lecturer Social Sciences and Ms Aiman Abbas and other faculty and HODs were introduced to the respected delegates.
Dr. Subhan-U-Rehman, Principal NWIHS moderated a detailed presentation about the institute’s strengths including curriculum development, research projects, academic facilities, information technology and plans.
Northwest Institute of Health Sciences is imparting exceptional health sciences education to the students with innovative techniques and research-based learning.
The institute has state-of-the-art health care facilities including Northwest General Hospital and Northwest General Hospital 2 having 600+ beds capacity. Our students and graduates are being engaged there in doing relevant health practices.
Later on, the delegates carried out a comprehensive inspection of the departments, and facilities including the Information Technology Lab, Science Labs and Skills Labs, Lecture Rooms and Library.
The team showed great satisfaction with the facilities and requirements duly provided by the institute.
